Parent Points Livestream: MS Civil Rights Museum & Bonnie Plants

The Mississippi Civil Rights Museum, part of Two Mississippi Museums, offers a wonderful educational opportunity for all ages! Chris DiGiovanni, Curator of Education and Interpretation, shines some light on the museum. He explains the interactive sculpture behind him, Covid-19 protocols in place, visiting hours, and even online virtual tour experiences available. The museum is currently offering free admission on Sundays. Call ahead to confirm special rates. Click here for regular hours and group information.

Next, Horticulturalist Amy Enfield from Bonnie Plants, shares tips on successful gardening. Bonnie Plants offers plants that can adapt well to raised beds and smaller areas without sacrificing flavor in regards to items like tomato plants. These plants are ideal for children (or adults!) that want a manageable garden.
