Virtual Storytime: Enjoy a Nite-Nite Reading of ‘Goodnight Tupelo’

This is part of our PK Cares series of videos featuring Mississippi authors reading from their children’s books. We think it’s a great activity to share these “Virtual Storytime” videos with your child(ren), especially when out of ideas to fill the hours at home during Covid-19 social distancing.

Today’s Featured Author:

Brittany Carroll Rogers of Tupelo, Mississippi

Originally from Memphis, Brittany graduated from the University of Mississippi where she met her husband, Kyle. They moved to Tupelo, his hometown, where she quickly fell in love with the charm of a smaller town as well as the Tupelo spirit.  She was inspired to capture the appeal in a children’s bedtime story book by writing and publishing “Goodnight Tupelo.”  Along with writing, Brittany enjoys reading, attempting yoga and shopping online.  She currently lives in Tupelo with her husband and their dog, Sammie.

Click the video below to enjoy a bedtime reading of “Goodnight Tupelo,” written by Brittany Carroll Rogers and illustrated by Brent Farrar. For more information, visit the author’s website at Goodnighttupelo.com.

Please continue visiting the PK Cares section of our website, where we will periodically upload more readings by Mississippi children’s book authors.
