Parent Points: Original Music and Children’s Festival is Back!
Mark your calendars for the 38th WellsFest on Saturday, September 24, at Jamie Fowler Boyll Park, next to Smith-Wills Stadium on Lakeland Drive.
“This is the first live, in-person WellsFest since the arrival of COVID-19,” said Chris Cumbest, pastor of Wells United Methodist Church, sponsor of WellsFest. “We are excited about bringing together the community once again for a wholesome day of family fun and great music, while raising funds to help a local non-profit.” Over the years, WellsFest has raised more than $1.5 million for local non-profits. This year’s WellsFest beneficiary is the Good Samaritan Center.
A family friendly event with free admission and parking, WellsFest includes:
Pet parade at 9:30 a.m.
Nonstop music from great bands 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
An expanded children’s area
An arts and crafts vendor area
An online silent auction
A plant sale
