After a really long ‘intermission’ with COVID, we’re ready to reopen with safety protocols and present our 60th Anniversary Season. LLT was started in 1961 and we’ve presented 237 shows since then! Trailer Park Comedy
DOUBLEWIDE, TEXAS
January 22-24 & 29-31
LLT opens our SIXTIETH SENSATIONAL SEASON next week for a two-week run with our annual Southern comedy – and it’s a DOOOOOZY!!! Director Frankie Bennett and her cast have been in rehearsals for ONE YEAR! That’s right, they started just after New Years, 2020 and were just about ready to open last March when COVID shut us down.
The ‘doublewide trailer’ has been just sittin’ on the Arabian stage since then, waiting for whenever we could finally reopen. The cast has been in hoots the last month getting warmed up again.
The story? The residents of the smallest trailer park in Texas – just four doublewides – are thrown for a loop when they find out their nearby town is going to annex them. They decide they should just go on and secede from the state of Texas! ‘Git’ on your Stetson and cowboy boots and join them for double the fun, double the joy and double the belly ‘laffs.’ YEEEEEHAW!
The show is appropriate for all ages, but is really for adults and older students. Everyone, regardless of age, must have their own ticket.
Performances are at 730pm on January 22-23 & 29-30 and matinees are at 2pm on January 24 & 31.
The LLT reservation line has just opened and answers 24 hours a day at 601.428.0140. Just call in your reservation and the single ticket or membership is bought at the door when you arrive.
For COVID safety, the lobby will be closed for mingling. The front doors will open a half hour before curtain and everyone will go straight in to their seats.

COVID SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Extra steps to help ensure the safety of our audiences and all our LLT volunteers:
~~The Arabian will be hydrostatically cleaned between performances
~~Masks required for everyone (please bring your own!)
~~Temp checks and health safety discussed before entering
~~No one coughing, sneezing or having contact with anyone with COVID symptoms allowed inside
~~Distancing required
~~Lobby will be closed, so when front doors open, everyone will go directly to their seats
~~Sanitizers and hand cleaning supplies will be available
~~Limited seating – every other row blocked off completely, and on rows with seating, an empty seat between each group of family/couples – so there will be empty seats on all four sides of you

Single tickets for our shows are $17 (adults) and $15 (students or seniors). But – the very best deal to see our productions is our LLT 4-Punch Season Ticket. It has four punches allowing you to punch once on each of the four productions of the year (or bring a friend and punch twice on any one show and have two punches left for later in the year.)
The 4-Punch Season Ticket is $50 (seniors/students), $55 (adults), $100 (two season tickets for a couple), $190 (four season tickets for a family). This is such a great deal, it means seeing each show averages around $11-12 bucks! Save up 10-28% off the single ticket price – live theatre for the cost of a movie!
LLT’s Gold Patron Donors receive their season tickets along with many great perks: a complimentary wine or soft drink at each performance, listings in each show program and on the LLT website, a choice of seats from our reserved Gold Patrons’ Section, and a tax deduction for the donation.
