Caring For Masks

While most people are encouraged to wear masks, it’s important to care for them properly. Be sure to wash your cloth mask or properly store a disposable one (if you must re-use it). Remember to touch your mask’s loops, ties, or elastic rather than the front of the mask. Check out these steps.

I tend to gather all our masks and wash them at once on hot, rather than with other laundry that I typically do not want washed on high heat. What works best for each family may vary.
