
USM Hosts Virtual Summer Camp for Teens With Disabilities

The University of Southern Mississippi has hosted a summer program, Transition of Teens to Adult Life, for a couple of years. The program prepares teens, ranging from 16 -21 years old with intellectual and/or developmental obstacles, for their future. This year the program will be fully online.
Things covered include job exploration counseling, workforce readiness training, work-based experiences and internships, self-advocacy training and post-secondary education.
