Covid-19 Stories: Garner Music Academy
How has COVID-19 affected your business or organization? And what are you currently doing differently because of it?
My location is currently closed, the enrollment has definitely suffered due to the pandemic. However, I am currently teaching music enrichment courses online via Zoom. This month’s online class include sight singing and sight reading utilizing fundamental voice techniques and the recorder ( the instrument is provided). This fun Zoom music class last for 2 hours on Thursday’s, it is filled with fun music theory activities and games designed by the instructor on Nearpod.com. So far, it has been a fun way to continue music education with students who desire a fun a creative outlet and also a great way to reunite or meet new friends in a safe, educational environment. Very soon we will offer piano lessons via Zoom!
What would you like us to share with our audience about your organization?
Garner Music Academy is available to provide music enrichment for students ages 10-17. We currently provide voice lessons and a group music enrichment course. The Group class allows students to explore learning about music education, music business/entertainment while honing their individual musical skills. Online piano lessons will be launching soon.
