“LINK,” Canopy Children’s Solutions’ FREE service connects Mississippi families with resources they need now more than ever

Canopy Children’s Solutions has been helping create stronger families in Mississippi for over 100 years, and Covid-19 has not slowed their resolve in making lives better for Mississippians.  Just prior to the Covid-19 outbreak, Canopy launched LINK, a statewide program to connect families with resources they need.

LINK statewide coordinator, Yolanda Bronner Wooten, spoke to Gretchen Cook about the program, its services and how to access assistance. Open to all Mississippi families of any size or shape, LINK can pair families with coaches who will help them connect to local services and agencies who can address needs as diverse as food insecurity, parenting issues, financial crises, and much more.
