Virtual Storytime: Mississippi Children’s Author Reads Her Book, ‘Paint Me!’

This is the first of our PK Cares series of videos featuring Mississippi authors reading from their children’s books. We think it’s a great activity to share these “Virtual Storytime” videos with your child(ren), especially when out of ideas to fill the hours at home during Covid-19 social distancing.

Today’s Featured Author:

Sarah Frances Hardy of Oxford, Mississippi

With a juris doctorate cum laude from the University of Mississippi School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts in fine art from Davidson College, and studies at Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris, Sarah Frances Hardy took an early retirement from practicing law to paint and write full time. Her paintings are characterized by vivid colors and expressive brushstrokes. She has exhibited her work in galleries throughout the Southeast as well as at a gallery in SoHo. Most recently, Sarah Frances has redirected her creative juices towards writing and illustrating books for children. Her published works include PUZZLED BY PINK (Viking/Penguin Young Readers), PAINT ME!,  (Sky Pony Press) and DRESS ME! (Sky Pony Press).

Sarah Frances lives in Oxford with her husband, John, three daughters, and her dog Fig. For more info, visit her website at sfhardy.com.
