COVID-19 Stories: Fondren Restaurants providing evening meals to UMMC ER staff
Thanks to the generosity of more than 40 Metro Area neighbors,FRF is coordinating our Fondren restaurants to deliver evening meals to some 50 staff members who are working around-the-clock at the UMMC Emergency Room.
Led by the FRF Board and FRF’s Council of Pastors, the effort has raised more than $6,000 to compensate our participating restaurants for food and staff prep.
Participating restaurants include: Pig and The Pint, Broad Street Bakery, Basil’s, The Hungry Goat, Barrelhouse, Corner Market, Walker’s and Saltine.
Donations for UMMC are no longer being accepted however new donation programs could be available next week for other projects and other facilities.
Other restaurants stepping up!
