Holiday Tradition: Canton Festival of Lights
Starting right after Thanksgiving and all the way until Christmas (Nov. 23 – Dec. 23), the city of Canton, MS will become a magical land of twinkling lights, gingerbread cookies, hot cocoa and holiday cheer.
“This year’s new attraction is our interactive Christmas Village,” Canton Tourism executive director Jana Dear said. Children will be able to make reindeer food for Santa’s helpers to eat on Christmas eve, Frosty will be near his igloo handing out marshmallows to roast by the fire, and Santa’s elves will teach the children how to create their own picture frames and become certified elves!
Make lasting memories with your family as you enjoy Sip ’n’ Cider, Mrs. Claus’ Story Time, Horse and Buggy Rides around the square, a charming vintage-inspired carousel, and Trolley rides around the square. And photos with Santa of course! For details and prices, as you plan your visit to the magical city of lights, go to www.cantontourism.com.
