Smithsonian Exhibit in Ocean Springs
The Ocean Springs Municipal Library will host Water Ways – a traveling exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution, from October 20 through November 30. This traveling exhibit consists of five display units with photographs and articles as well as numerous interactives, ranging from basic flip charts to state-of-the-art audio and video displays. Ocean Springs Municipal Library was chosen among six venues, supporting the mission of “bringing the Smithsonian to Small Town America.” Water Ways explores the endless motion of the water cycle, water’s effect on landscape, settlement and migration and its impact on culture and spirituality.
