About the keynote speaker:

Brittany Bell has worked with children diagnosed with autism since 2002 in classroom, home, and clinic settings. After teaching in the special education classroom setting, she implemented Applied Behavior Analysis while serving as both behavior therapist and special education teacher at the University Medical Center’s Mississippi Child Development Institute under the training and supervision of BCBA-Ds and BCBAs.

Brittany developed and oversaw Rankin County School District’s Autism programs and classrooms from 2008 to 2016. She developed, trained, and oversaw multiple classroom staff and autism classrooms that implemented both ABA and the TEACCH methodology during this time.

After attaining certification as a BCBA in 2015, she provided private in-home therapy and consultation services. It was during this time that she identified the growing need for clinical services in this region and therefore she opened The Growing Tree ABA Clinic in Flowood, Ms in August of 2016. She now serves as Clinic Director of The Growing Tree ABA Clinic, Director of ABA services for Spectrum Academy at New Summit School, and Region 2 Representative for the Behavior Analysis Association of Mississippi.

Brittany is extremely passionate to see children diagnosed with autism reach their full potential by gaining language and developing independence in skills across environments. She is dedicated to this passion as well as to developing effective strategies that help increase quality ABA services and qualified RBTs and BCBAs in this region.

She received her undergraduate in Special Education from Mississippi College, her graduate degree in Psychology from University of the Rockies, and her post graduate certificate in Behavior Analysis from Saint Joseph’s University. In her free time, she loves laughing, spending time, and watching soccer games with her four kids and husband.
