Commitment to Graduate Encourages Clinton Students
Ninth graders at Sumner Hill made a commitment to graduate on time at the school’s annual Commitment to Graduate ceremony. On Oct. 19 in the school auditorium, students received a certificate, which stated that they havefull intentions to graduate on time and they understand the responsibility necessary to succeed. The purpose of the event is not only to encourage ninth-graders to graduate with their class in 2020 but to strive to do their best in all classes.
“Each student will sign a banner which signifies his or her commitment to graduate in 2020,” said Sumner Hill counselor Heather Norton. “This banner will be displayed in school throughout the year as a daily reminder of their commitment to graduate.”
