Scott’s Toy Parts: Melissa & Doug Play Food

Scott’s Toy Parts: Melissa & Doug Play Food

My grandmother had plastic fruit for decoration, and when I was really young, I always played with it. So when I saw Melissa & Doug’s

play food, I was immediately swept back to those days. I got to play with the grill set that’s shown in the photo. It comes with a green pepper and an onion that you can “cut up” (each into 3 pieces), 2 pieces of shrimp, 2 small tomatoes, and 3 chunks of beef. You also get a knife, tongs, and two skewers (all wooden, like the food), as well as a grill that can be used to store everything. There is also a list of games that can help teach your child counting and colors. You can find this at Learning Express for $19.99, and they have a whole bunch more. I’d love to play with the ice cream set!
