Scott’s Toy Box: Tech Toys and Gadgets
As we grow older, our toy preference changes. We go from model cars to the ones we drive, the current blockbuster’s action figures to pricy collectables of movies from our childhood, and a Gameboy to an iPhone. Unless you are like me and still like everything. This month in the toy box, I thought I’d find some tech toys and gadgets that mom and dad might like to play with.
Tego Audio Cera
First we have Tego Audio Cera, which is a Bluetooth speaker. It has a really nice round design and you press down on the top to turn it on/off and reveal the speaker. The volume controls are on top as well as a feature that allows you to fast forward and rewind the audio. You can even buy multiple ones and link them together. It comes in red, white, and black and can be found on Amazon for about $70.

Power Grid
Next we have the Power Grid. This small device holds back up power for your devices. Perfect for when the lights go out and your cell phone’s battery isn’t fully charged. I also find it good for when you need to charge your phone but don’t want it to be plugged into the wall or desktop because you don’t want to be tied down when using it. The power grid is new and can be found on tegopower.com for $60 and it comes in four colors.

Jigglit
Lastly we have the Jigglit. The Jigglit is a device you wear on your wrist and harkens back to the magic 8-ball. You ask the Jigglit a yes or no question and then you jiggle your wrist to hear the answer. It uses slap bracelet-type technology to secure itself on your wrist and it will also tell you the time so it doubles as a watch. You can buy a Jigglit on their website, jigglit.com, for $20 and it comes in 8 colors.
