Scott’s Toy Box: Summer Reading

Summer’s almost here, but don’t let the kids leave school without a proper summer reading list this year. Even if your family doesn’t have big plans this summer, through books your child can take an adventurous trip down the Mississippi River or even see a spider save a pig! The classics are always great, but consider some of these new releases to busy your child’s brain this summer.

Packed full of activities, interesting facts, movie lists, game rules, book excerpts and much more, this is a great book to buy on the first day of summer and enjoy all the way until the school year’s return! M. Scott Anderson grew up in Hattiesburg and now currently lives in Jackson. He went to college at USM and got a degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Creative Writing. He has always loved to be a storyteller. Friends from childhood would tell him of stories he would say he’s writing that included them in it.
