A Ropes Course in Central Mississippi
Once again Pick-a-Place has uncovered a unique Mississippi adventure: zip-lining. If you’ve figured zip-lines and ropes courses are something you have to go to the coast or the mountains to experience, you’re in luck. There is a phenomenal zip-line and ropes adventure course at Old Mountain Outdoor Adventures in Winona, MS. Take a look and see the Vickery family on their adventure. With five kids ranging from 15 to five, they were able to have an action-filled day within a 90-minute drive.
Old Mountain Outdoor Adventures
Just about 90 miles north of Jackson on I-55, Old Mountain Outdoor Adventures is a unique ropes course and zipline adventure with a number of features. The Tracks
The Tracks, located in downtown Winona, is a one-of-a-kind dining adventure. Built in the former train depot, the restaurant offers great service, wonderful food (definitively local fare, the Smokehouse Burger and the Caramel Cake are not to be missed), a great location in a unforgettable atmosphere. It was the perfect mid-day break from our adventures.
